Christmas Elegance
It is easy to over do it at Christmas. I don't know about you, but I could have a Christmas tree in every room. Well... If I am to be honest, I keep an un-decorated one up all year. There is just something about having a tree, fake or real INSIDE your home.
This year I decided, less is more. I usually pic a theme and decided on a blue color scheme. I highly recommend figuring out the color scheme first. Then adjust as necessary.
I knew I wanted a blue theme and added silver and white with the blue as the accent.
Pick the place in your house that will give it the most glory, ie the living room, dining room, or so at least the people driving by can admire your hard work.
Christmas tree decorating should be fun. Plan to do it with friends and or family. Turn on some Christmas music, light some seasonal smelling candles and let the decorating commence.
For this tree I used a pre- lit white tree from Walmart that cost 39 dollars. YES only 39 dollars. I actually considered putting one in every room. I used a silver bow to dress the top, and a white circular skirt.
Plan a budget and let the decorating commence! This tree cost me less than 75 dollars to decorate.
Merry Christmas!
